Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy refers to the treatment of muscle knots that often lead to pain in a localized area or correspond to tightness in another area of the body.  Trigger points are nodules that develop in muscle fibers.  Pressure on the trigger points will help release these muscle fibers.  The goal of trigger point therapy is to deactivate the sensitive nodules and to release and elongate the muscles associated with the specific point.
